WANNA BET ?
Synopsis:
(Game Show – half hour). Contestants are given multiple choice questions (whose answers include, none of the above, all of the above, A and C, etc). They then have to bet part, or all, of their money, depending on how sure they are of their answer.

GAME SHOW TREATMENT
PREMISE: – 4 contestants
TO SHOW A CONTESTANTS DEPTH OF KNOWLEDGE ON A SUBJECT.
Winner of previous show selects a category out of several categories shown on a board: i.e. – 4 Contestants.
Contestants all type in answers. They cannot see the other answers until after they all bet.
CATEGORY: George Washington
Question 1 – What kind of tree was he famously linked to:
Answer: Cherry Tree
WANNA BET?: Bet that you have the right answer $100, $150, $200, $250
Right answers are credited, wrong answers are debited.
Question 2 – Wife’s Name
Answer: Martha
WANNA BET?: Bet that you have the right answer: $100, $200, $250, $300
Right answers are credited, wrong answers are debited.
Question 3 – Name of his Plantation
Answer: Mt. Vernon
WANNA BET? Bet that you have the right answers: $100, $250, $300, $350
Right answers are credited, wrong answers are debited
Question 4: Name of his 1st Vice President?
Answer: John Adams
Bet: $200, $400, $750, $1,000
Question 5: What was the name of his winter Headquarters during the Revolutionary War?
Answer: Valley Forge
WANNA BET: $250, $500, $750, $1,000
This proceeds with 8 questions per category. There are 4 Categories during each 30 minute show.
The winner of the previous category gets to keep one of the remaining categories on the board and the other two are replaced.
The contestant, who wins the most money in the category, doubles their money. The others keep what they won.
The money won is kept on a running total and the contestants all know how much each of them has won.
FINAL: The contestant with the most money gets to play in the Final Round.
Final Round: 2 minutes. One contestant.
They pick one of 4 categories. There are 10 questions. They now give the answers out loud. They then get to bet: $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500 OR ‘ALL’.
If they get a correct answer, they total is increased by the amount they bet. If they guess incorrectly, the amount is decreased. If they bet ALL, and get an incorrect answer, the game is over and they get a $1,000 consolation prize.
